School of Movement Medicine Elective - The Wisdom of Conflict and the Dancing activist - Dartington, Totnes

Drawing on the maps of Movement Medicine we will explore our current relationship to conflict and how it appears in our lives.  We will then seek to discover the Wisdom we find in Conflict once we recognise that it appears as a mirror of something that we have seperated from inside of us.  We will learn how to tranform conflict from a block to relationship into an opportunity for deeper connection.

We will draw on the Archetypes of the Dancing Fool, Dancing Warrior and Wise Elder to support us to become free of the Victim, Persecutor and Rescuer drama triangle

From this rich starting point we will combine with Joanna Macys work that reconnects to explore how we can expand our perspective from the realm of personal transformation into being in service of the wider, collective realm.  Dancing, becoming fully embodied, ritualising, reconnecting and making choices to become the change we want to see in the world.

This retreat is one of the electives for the Apprenticeship, begining in 20166, and is only open to current or former Apprentices.
